two ingredient dough

baking breakfast recipes

After seeing people with their two ingredient dough on instagram hundreds of times this past January, I had to see what all the hype was about. This healthy-ish simple dough is so versatile and people were going crazy over it.

It turns out, this two ingredient dough is just as good as it is easy to make! How did I go my whole life without it?! As long as you have flour and greek yogurt, you are literally minutes away from yummy bagels, cinnamon bites, pizza, and more!

  • 1 cup self rising flour*
  • 1 cup plain 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • *If you do not have self rising flour, (like me) you can substitute 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 1/2 t baking powder, and 1/2 t salt

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and yogurt with your hands. Mix well. The dough might feel super sticky or crumbly at first, but keep mixing and it will combine.
  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for 3 minutes, or until it surface is smooth, and if you poke the dough with your finger, the hole bounces back up.
  4. Form the dough into whatever shape you need, cover with a damp towel, and allow to rise for 15 minutes. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
