This recipe comes from  As soon as I saw peanut butter and pretzels, Lindsay had my attention.  These granola bars are made of easy ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry, and they are super easy to make!

These sweet, salty, and chocolatey granola bars are simple to make, and a fabulous healthy-ish snack!

  • 2 c rolled oats
  • 2 c pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 c salted peanut halves
  • 1 c peanut butter
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 1 t vanilla extract


  1. Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper.  A larger pan will work just fine, but you will end up with thinner granola bars.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the oats, pretzels, and peanut halves.  In a separate bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.  Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture, and stir to combine.
  3. Place half of the granola mixture in a food processor and pulse.  Add the mixture from the food processor back to the large bowl and stir.
  4. Add any add-in’s if you like!  Chocolate chips, coconut flakes, nuts, raisins, etc.
  5. Press granola mixture into pan and flatten evenly.  (Drizzle melted chocolate on top if you wish!)  Freeze for 30 minutes.  Remove from pan, and cut.

Store in freezer individually wrapped, or in individual baggies.
