I recently made a change in my morning routine. I traded in my breakfast burritos and bagels for a smoothie.
At first, I thought that having a smoothie for breakfast every morning would leave me starving until lunch, but it actually keeps me full! Using a frozen banana instead of ice and adding protein makes all the difference!
chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie
- 1 banana, sliced and frozen
- 1 1/2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 T peanut butter
- 3/4 c unsweetened almond milk
- 1 T protein powder of choice
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until combined. Taste, and add in more of any ingredient if needed.
