I recently made a change in my morning routine. I traded in my breakfast burritos and bagels for a smoothie.

At first, I thought that having a smoothie for breakfast every morning would leave me starving until lunch, but it actually keeps me full! Using a frozen banana instead of ice and adding protein makes all the difference!

ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1 1/2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 T peanut butter
  • 3/4 c unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 T protein powder of choice

instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until combined. Taste, and add in more of any ingredient if needed.
