air fryer asparagus
I had the day off yesterday, and I made it a pretty big cook day. I made two proteins, rice pilaf, soup, and I needed some vegetables prepped. When I have that much going on in my kitchen, and none of my dishes take too long to cook, I am busy throughout the whole cooking process.
The air fryer is an amazing appliance to use when you’re busy. Whether you’re busy cooking, coming home from a day of work, or just have a lot on your to-do list, the air fryer can make a tasty veggie side easily and quickly.
For most vegetables, just coat them in a little oil and seasonings, and pop them in. 10ish minutes later, you have crispy, flavorful, and healthy-ish veggies ready to go!
Ryan and I love this asparagus recipe. Now that spring is here, I know I will be making it very often. I hope you enjoy!

air fryer asparagus
ingredients
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 2 T extra virgin olive oil
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 t Goya Adobo seasoning
instructions
-
Wash and trim your asparagus. If you're not sure how far you need to cut from the bottom, just bend the asparagus with your hands, and it should actually SNAP OFF in the right place.
-
In a large bowl, toss the asparagus in the extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and Adobo. Toss to coat.
-
Place asparagus in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy. Serve immediately.
